Thrynn is a member of the Thieves' Guild.
He was originally part of a band of bandits that raided villagers around Skyrim. At first he lived the good life with plenty of coin, mead and women. But then things got worse as the bandits became more brutal. Eventually, their leader ordered them to execute women and children travelling from one village to another that had just been raided. Thrynn chose to draw the line at this point and refused to do it. The leader then ordered Thrynn killed, but his friends in the band sided with him. It eventually led to a schism within the bandits ending with the leader dead at Thrynn's hand and his head on a spike. The survivors of that fight went their separate ways and Thrynn joined the Guild some ten years ago.
