This key opens the strongbox in Elder Othreloth's room. It is carried by the Elder and Galdrus Hlervu. Cannot be dropped.
The key is given to the Dragonborn by Elder Othreloth to complete Clean Sweep, i.e. to open the door to the Temple Ancestral Tomb. The key also works on the doors there leading to the Ulen Ancestral Tomb and Morvayn Ancestral Tomb.
