Walkthrough[ | ]
This quest begins when the Dragonborn strikes up a conversation with Alessandra inside the Riften Hall of the Dead. She explains that she and her father, a priest of Arkay had never had a chance to make up before he died. He had given her a dagger and she now wishes to return it, even though he is dead.
Bring Alessandra's Dagger to Andurs in Whiterun[ | ]
She asks the Dragonborn to do this for her, by bringing the dagger to Andurs in Whiterun (although in the game text, she says "Windhelm").
Return to Alessandra[ | ]
Once the dagger has been delivered, it is simply a matter of going back to Riften to get the reward.
Note: The Dragonborn must have at least 40 points in the Restoration skill tree before being able to get the reward.
Restoration Level Cheat[ | ]
Use incPCS restoration in the in-game console to get your character restoration skill level up to 40 before talking to Alesandra to get your reward.
Note: This command only levels up once, so put the command in how ever many times it takes to advance to the appropriate level. Downside, there seems to be no way to reset your old level afterwards.
