Talking to the war veteran Noster Eagle-Eye in Solitude will bring up the topic of having been left for dead on the battlefield, where he lost the helmet special to him. The Dragonborn can go about retrieving Noster's Helmet.

Overcome any opposition and retrieve the helmet.
Return Noster's Helmet to Noster[ | ]
