Once the Blades have been rebuilt and the Dragonborn has gone on the first dragon hunt initiated by Esbern, the scholar will ask for a Dragon Bone and a Dragon Scale.
Note: This quest is bugged. Drinking Esbern's Potion does not actually give the Dragon Infusion perk, despite the posted message on-screen.
Bring a Dragon Scale and a Dragon Bone to Esbern[ | ]
The Dragonborn probably already has some in the inventory. Otherwise, the next dragon hunt should provide the necessary items. Once they have been secured and brought back to Esbern, he gives the Dragonborn Esbern's Potion. Drinking the potion is supposed to give the Dragon Infusion perk, but currently it does not.
