Balagog gro-Nolob is an Orc secretly hiding out at the Nightgate Inn. The reason he is hiding there is that he is in fact the Gourmet. Famous, however anonymous, for his bestselling book, Uncommon Taste, he has been invited to cook a gourmet meal for the Emperor during a visit to Skyrim's capital, Solitude.
Like many orcish people who seek higher culture for themselves and their people, the Gourmet finds himself in a very similar and strange place as, for example, an orcish bookseller.
