Arcane Enchanters are workstations at which you can Enchant or Disenchant items. Enchantable items include weapons and armor (apparel). The process requires soul gems and a knowledge of the desired enchantment. This knowledge can be acquired by disenchanting an item which has that particular enchantment already, but the item is destroyed in the process.
