Rested and Well Rested are effects that the Dragonborn can receive by sleeping in a bed. Upon awaking, one of the following messages will appear:
- "You awaken feeling rested", which confers a 5% bonus to skill increases.
- "You awaken feeling well rested", which confers a 10% bonus to skill increases
This message is also listed under the Active Effects menu on the Magic tab.
If Dragonborn joins the Companions and becomes a werewolf, then he or she can no longer obtain this beneficial effect.
