Walkthrough
This quest tends to be stumbled upon when the Dragonborn finds strange items in the course of completing other Thieves' Guild quests which are of no apparent value and subsequently receives a journal entry to bring them to Delvin Mallory. These items include:
- the Bust of the Gray Fox in Riftweald Manor in Riften
- a Dwemer Puzzle Cube in Calcelmo's Laboratory in Markarth
- an East Empire Shipping Map in the office on the far side of the East Empire Company Warehouse in Solitude
- a Honningbrew Decanter in Honningbrew Meadery
- the Left Eye of the Falmer in Irkngthand, a dwemer ruin
- a Model Ship in Snow Veil Sanctum
- a Queen Bee Statue at Goldenglow Estate outside Riften
Once given to Delvin, the latter rewards the Dragonborn with gold for each item, then puts them on display in the bookcases in the Ragged Flagon - Cistern.
Return the Queen Bee Statue to Delvin
During the quest Loud and Clear, carefully searching the upper floor of Goldenglow Estate, next of the main bed, will reveal the Queen Bee Statue. 800 reward.
Return the Honningbrew Decanter to Delvin
During the quest Dampened Spirits, carefully searching Sabjorn's bedroom on the upper floor after the quest will reveal the Honningbrew Decanter. Delvin pays 800 gold for this item.
Return the East Empire Shipping Map to Delvin
During the quest Scoundrel's Folly, after (or while) following Gulum-Ei, the Dragonborn can climb up to the East Empire Shipping Office. The map is on the table inside.
Return the Model Ship to Delvin
During the quest Speaking with Silence, the Dragonborn will see the model ship while following Mercer Frey through the ruin. Delvin pays 800 gold for this item.
Return the Dwemer Puzzle Cube to Delvin
During the quest Hard Answers, a careful search of Calcelmo's Laboratory will reveal the Puzzle Cube.
Return the Left Eye of the Falmer to Delvin
During the quest The Pursuit, the Dragonborn will find both the Right and Left Eye of the Falmer in a huge submerged statue of a snow elf.
Return the Bust of the Gray Fox to Delvin
During the quest The Pursuit, a careful search of Mercer's residence will reveal the Bust of the Gray Fox.
