North Shriekwind Bastion
Shriekwind Bastion is a Nordic ruin located north of Falkreath. Inside is the word wall for the Elemental Fury shout.
It can be entered by two separate entrances: North Shriekwind Bastion and South Shriekwind Bastion.
South Shriekwind Bastion[ | ]
This part of the bastion consists of a number of terraces surrounding a central circular area. A chest with ~875 
value (L34) can be found here.
Shriekwind Bastion[ | ]
Entering the bastion via south gate leads to a lower path letting you eventually exit via the north gate, and an upper path that dead ends in a word wall. Many skeletons and vampires infest the bastion, and coffins are not uncommon.
Upper path[ | ]
- You will stumble into a Master Vampire on the way up.
- 2920, Second Seed, v5 on a stone.
- Chest ~900
value (L34). - A Draugr Scourge defends the word wall.
- Shriekwind Overlook: This area is just a balcony overlooking the city of Falkreath and environs. It can be reached by a doorway near the word wall.
Lower path[ | ]
- In a "sacrificial chamber" 17× pairs of boots can be collected.
- Past raisable pillar room: Chest ~350 value (L34).
North Shriekwind Bastion[ | ]
Finally you exit the lower path to end up at the north gate:
- Above the northern gate, in the rock there is a Corundum Ore Vein.
- Continue the up-hill path, near outlook there: Chest ~900 value (L34).
