Shimmermist Cave

The Forsaken Cave is located almost due east of Whitewatch Tower, near the Shrine of Talos.

It is a falmer cave which can be discerned by the Falmer Totem outside and also contains chaurus. There are many Glowing Mushrooms and Chaurus Eggs to be found.

Shimmermist Grotto

This area is the deeper part of the cave and contains some dwarven ruins, complete with a Dwarven Centurion in addition to Falmer elves. Here is where you find most of the chaurus. Deeper in the Grotto, you will come upon the leader of the Falmer elves. He seems to have a troll-like accomplice hidden in the shadows.
