Lucan is a citizen of Riverwood who owns Riverwood Trader and runs the shop with his sister, Camilla Valerius.
Lucan is the start of The Golden Claw quest. If killed, this quest can be completed with Camilla.
After completing the quest, Lucan will give the player an iron sword or a potion of minor healing as a token of his affections. This is confirmed on both male and female characters. The player must revisit if items are truly wanted. Otherwise this isn't necessary.
