Goldenglow Estate is a bee farm just outside Riften. It is a major supplier of the Black-Briar Meadery, one of the more famous Meaderies in Skyrim. The estate is owned by an Altmer called Aringoth but lately he has been going against Maven Black-Briar by supplying his honey to other Meaderies as well. Fearing retribution he has hired mercenaries to protect his estate.
The Estate is built on two small islands in the middle of a small lake. There is a single bridge connecting the Estate to the lake shore though there is a dock next to the manor. The western island contains the six large beehives that produce the honey and the second island is where the manor house is located.
There is also a small sewer beneath the main island, directly underneath the manor, with two entrances outside of it and one inside its basement.
Note: The estate can only be accessed when playing Loud and Clear, prior to that it is blocked off.
Places[edit | edit source]
A guard near the southern entrance of the estate, leading out to the only bridge, has a Goldenglow Gate Key on his body.
Goldenglow Estate Sewer[edit | edit source]
A passage onto the estate located at the north-western shore of the islands, infested by seven skeevers and a few traps. The sewer also features a cell with a skeleton next to a copy of Guide to Better Thieving, possibly a member of the Thieves' Guild who did not escape the mercenaries.
Goldenglow Estate Manor[edit | edit source]
The residence on the estate.
Goldenglow Estate Second Floor[edit | edit source]
The upper floor of the manor features Aringoth's living quarters, and a couple of beds for the guards. Next to the main bed a very rare Bee in a Jar an unusual Queen Bee Statue can be picked up. Aringoth carries the possibly useful Goldenglow Safe Key and Goldenglow Cellar Key on his body.
