Elder Dragons begin to appear in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim once the player reaches level 30, and spawn more often according to your game difficulty. They are distinguished by their copper color, and can use either Yol (Fire) or Fo (Frost) attacks. Their powerful melee attacks can cause a bleeding effect. These dragons are also the second-most challenging random spawn dragons to kill. This particular type of dragon is considered to be the most powerful of its kind.
