Walkthrough
After having seemingly defeated Durnehviir at the Soul Cairn Boneyard, he magically reappears at the Boneyard exit. This time not wanting to fight, but hoping the Dragonborn will help him escape the wasteland, to be able to freely fly the skies in Skyrim once again.
Should the Dragonborn agree, all three words of the new shout Summon Durnehviir will be learned.
Summon Durnehviir in Tamriel
Use all three words of Summon Durnehviir to summon the dragon to Tamriel.
Learn the first word of Durnehviir's Shout
He will thank the Dragonborn by teaching him the first word of the Soul Tear shout. And should the Dragonborn be fighting foes at the them, the dragon will assist in combat.
Note: Summoning Durnehviir only works by pointing at an open area, relatively close to the Dragonborn's feet for the shout to work.
Learn the second word of Durnehviir's Shout
Use Summon Durnehviir again, and learn the second word of the Soul Tear shout.
Learn the final word of Durnehviir's Shout
Use Summon Durnehviir a final time, and learn the third and last word of the Soul Tear shout. Durnehviir will be thankful to the Dragonborn for helping him transcend the Soul Cairn prison.
