This is one of several Delivery quests. If the Dragonborn speaks with Idgrod the Younger in Morthal, the young woman expresses her concern for her younger brother Joric and asks the Dragonborn to deliver a letter to Danica Pure-Spring in Whiterun asking for potions to help with the boy.
