Talk to the strange jester[edit | edit source]
Convince Loreius to fix the wheel[edit | edit source]
The Dragonborn can then speak with the farmer who explains that he has refused the jester's request because he suspects no good can come of helping him. He is convinced that the jester is not only mad, but likely hauling contraband or weapons.
Report Cicero to the guard[edit | edit source]
Vantus then suggests that Cicero should be reported to the authorities (a guard who patrols the area near the wagon regularly).
Convince Loreius or Report Cicero[edit | edit source]
The Dragonborn must then decide whether to convince the farmer to help the jester, or report Cicero to the guard. Helping Cicero will mean that the jester is friendlier later in the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Turning in Cicero will mean that he will exact revenge on the farmer and his wife but carries no real implications for the Dark Brotherhood quest line.
Talk to Loreius or Talk to Cicero[edit | edit source]
If the Dragonborn turns the jester in to the guard, he/she must report back to Loreius. If he/she convinces the farmer to help Cicero, then the jester must be advised.
