When the Dragonborn strikes up a conversation with Ghorza, the blacksmith in Markarth, she mentions that her apprentice, Tacitus Sallustius simply does not seem to be absorbing anything she is tried to teach him and that perhaps a book might help.
Bring The Last Scabbard of Akrash to Ghorza[ | ]
She mentions the book Last Scabbard of Akrash and asks the Dragonborn to find a copy for her to give to Tacitus. There are copies of the book in the Fort Sungard Muster as well as inside the fortress of Gallows Rock.
Once a copy of the skill book has been secured, the Dragonborn can return to Ghorza in Markarth and receive a free smithing lesson as a reward.
