When the Dragonborn strikes up a conversation with Ysolda, she mentions that she needs a Mammoth Tusk to help in her quest to learn more from the Khajiit.
Bring one Mammoth Tusk to Ysolda[ | ]
If the Dragonborn agrees to help her, the tusk can either be stolen, or wait until one is found. There are mammoth tusks at the following locations:
- The Bannered Mare, behind the counter on top of a bookshelf.
- Dragonsreach, on top of a bookshelf in the Jarl's office.
- Halted Stream Mine, there are many Mammoth Tusks inside the mine.
- Jorrvaskr, on the table in the small room off the main floor eating chamber.
Once a tusk has been secured, the Dragonborn simply has to find Ysolda and give it to her. As a reward, she increases the Speech skill by one point.
