Agmaer is a young Nord met by the player after entering Dayspring Canyon, on the way to Fort Dawnguard. Like the player, he has heard the recruitment call of Isran and intends to join the storied vampire hunters. He engages the player as he or she walks past, and speaks glibly about wanting to join.
Agmaer has one problem: he's terribly nervous, as noticed after entering Fort Dawnguard and speaking to Isran. Isran: "well, what kind of weapon do you use?" Agmaer: " Uhm, I mostley use my Pa's axe if wolfs are attackng the goats or something" Isran: "hahahaha, my pa's axe! Come boy, let's see if we can make a Dawnguard out of you"
