Todd Howard, Skryim’s executive producer has said that they have learned from Fallout 3's mistakes. In Fallout 3 the world enemies were too strong for where they were placed. Within Skryim you will be able to backtrack to find weaker monsters.

Bethesda studios have learned from their voice mistakes in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The voice actors are more prepared and are set in the mind set of, "You’re going to read a bunch of responses that could happen". They can also compress the audio more so they don't run out of space like they did with Oblivion. On top of all that Skyrim is going to be available in five different languages.

Skyrim’s Director; Todd Howard said, "Honestly, I couldn’t care less – having to wear those glasses! I’m not a 3D fan. It ruins the image for me… I want the clarity." It's safe to say that he will not allow 3D to be brought into the game of this size.

Skyrim promises many hours of gameplay

Bethesda has confirmed that Skyrim's main story will occupy players for at least "20 to 30 hours". Previously, Todd Howard has commented that he estimates at least several hundred hours of total gameplay in Skyrim. With Skyrim being a sandbox-style game, the amount of time it takes to complete Skyrim will be based on the individual players more than anything else.
