Lydia is a female Nord. She becomes housecarl to the Dragonborn when he or she is appointed Thane of Whiterun. If the Dragonborn purchases Breezehome, she can be found there, otherwise, she remains in Dragonsreach. She is an ex-guard of Riften. You may also marry Lydia.
