The Volkihar Vampire Clan are a group of vampires who are introduced in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard, an official plug in to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. They are one of two joinable factions. They were turned by Molag Bal himself and their primary goal is to fight against the tyranny of the sun.
The Volkihar Vampire Clan's base of operations is Castle Volkihar, which the Dragonborn can also use as a home (upon joining this faction).
Clan Volkihar is a powerful, yet little-known. It is led by the brutal Vampire Lord Lord Harkon. It is headquartered in on an island north of the capitol of Skyrim, Solitude, in Castle Volkihar. They have a relentless nemesis in the vampire hunter Isran and his followers, the Dawnguard.
